Lapierre Shaper 3.0

The "Shaper 3.0" model from Lapierre, released in 2023, is a versatile bicycle characterised by its robust construction and solid specifications. The frame is made from Shaper 700c Supreme 4 alloy Disc, ensuring durability and stability. Weighing 12 kg, the bike is relatively light and therefore well suited to everyday use.

The Shaper 3.0 is fitted with Alhonga HT472 brakes, which offer reliable braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano Alivio T4000 with 9 speeds, which, in combination with the Shimano Acera M3000 shifter and the Shimano Acera FD-T3000 front derailleur, enables precise and smooth gear changes. In total, the bike has 18 gears, allowing it to be adapted to various riding conditions.

The fork is a Shaper 700c alloy PM Disc Brake, which contributes to the bike’s stability and control. The pedals are Xerama SP-822N, whilst the crankset is a Shimano Altus FC-MT210 with 46-30T, the length of which varies depending on frame size (170mm for size S and 175mm for M/L/XL). The cassette is a Sunrace CSM90 with a 11-34T range for the 9-speed drivetrain.

The bike’s axle is an X9 1/2"x11/128" for 9-speed systems. The handlebars are made from XLC 6061 alloy, with a width of 640mm, a rise of 15mm and a diameter of 31.8mm, which allows for a comfortable and ergonomic grip. The grips are Herrmans DDK37, which provide additional comfort. The stem is also made from XLC alloy and has an angle of 17°, a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 90 mm.

The headset is an FSA NO.10 semi-integrated model, which contributes to steering stability. The wheelset consists of Shimano hubs combined with alloy rims, with both the front and rear hubs being Shimano TX505 models with Centre Lock. The saddle is a Selle Italia Model X Superflow with a width of 145mm, ensuring a high level of comfort. The seatpost is made from XLC alloy, has a diameter of 27.2mm and a length of 350mm.

The Lapierre Shaper 3.0 is priced at 749 EUR and offers a balanced blend of performance and comfort, ideal for everyday use in the city or on longer rides.
