Lapierre Shaper 1.0

Lapierre’s “Shaper 1.0” model from 2022 offers a solid spec at a price of 499 EUR. The frame is made from Shaper 700c Supreme 4 aluminium and is designed for V-brakes, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction. The brakes are Alhonga V-brakes, which provide reliable stopping power. The drivetrain features a Shimano Altus M310 7-speed system, complemented by Shimano Altus STEF50 shifters and a Shimano Tourney FD-TY710 front derailleur, which together ensure precise gear changes.

The fork is also made from Shaper 700c aluminium and designed for V-brakes. The Xerama SP-822N pedals contribute to the bike’s overall stability. The bottom bracket has a length of 126 mm and the crankset is a Shimano TY301 with three chainrings (48-38-28T), with the crank arm length varying depending on frame size (170 mm for S and 175 mm for M, L, XL). The handlebars are made from XLC aluminium, with a width of 640 mm, a rise of 15 mm and a diameter of 31.8 mm. Ergonomic grips, 125 mm in length, ensure comfort on longer rides. The stem is also made from XLC aluminium, with a 17-degree angle and a length of 90 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated FSA NO.10.

The rims are Lapierre DW with 32 spoke holes and a size of 21-622. The tyres are Schwalbe Delta Cruiser in size 700x35c, which provide good traction and comfort. Both the front and rear hubs are Shimano TX500. The saddle is a Selle Royal Shadow, mounted on an XLC aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm.
