Lapierre PULSIUM SAT 5.0

The Lapierre Pulsium SAT 5.0 from 2024 is a road bike that is characterised by its high-quality equipment and well thought-out design. With a price of EUR 2999, it offers an attractive price-performance ratio for ambitious cyclists. The frame is made of Pulsium SAT Disc Thru axle UD carbon, which ensures high stability and low weight at the same time. The permissible total weight of the bike is 110 kg, which makes it suitable for a wide range of riders.

Equipped with Shimano 105 components, the Pulsium SAT 5.0 offers reliable shifting and braking performance. The gear system consists of the Shimano 105 R7000 12s Shadow and a Shimano 105 R7100 front derailleur. The brakes are hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano 105 Disc with a size of 160/140 mm, which ensure reliable deceleration. The fork is rigid, which ensures efficient power transmission.

The drive is supported by the Shimano 105 CN-M7100 12s chainset, while the bottom bracket is a Shimano Press Fit BB71-41B. The crankset varies depending on the frame size: 50-34T with a length of 170 mm for XS and S, 172.5 mm for M and L, and 175 mm for XL. The crankset is a Shimano 105 R7100 with a gradation of 11-34T.

The cockpit includes an aluminium Lapierre handlebar with a width of 400 mm for sizes XS and S and 420 mm for sizes M, L and XL. The drop is 130 mm and the reach is 80 mm. The stem is also made of aluminium and has internal cable routing, with a length of 80 mm (XS, S), 90 mm (M), 100 mm (L) and 110 mm (XL).

Comfort is provided by the Selle Italia Model X Superflow saddle, which is mounted on a Lapierre aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm. The wheels are Lapierre Road 700c made of aluminium, specially designed for disc brakes, combined with Continental Ultra Sport III tyres in size 28-622.

The overall package is rounded off by the VP-335 Clips&Strap pedals, which ensure a secure grip. Overall, the Lapierre Pulsium SAT 5.0 presents itself as a well-equipped road bike that is suitable for both sporty tours and demanding training sessions.
