Lapierre PULSIUM 5.0

The Lapierre Pulsium 5.0 model from 2024 is a high-quality road bike that is characterised by its sophisticated features and modern design. The frame is made of Pulsium Disc Thru axle UD carbon, which not only gives the bike a high level of stability but also a low weight. With a permissible total weight of 110 kg, it is suitable for a wide range of riders.

The brakes on the Pulsium 5.0 are Shimano 105 Disc brakes with a disc size of 160 mm at the front and 140 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain is equipped with Shimano 105 R7000 components and offers a wide range of gear ratios with a 12-speed system. The front derailleur is the Shimano 105 R7100, which is known for precise shifting.

The rigid fork and the Shimano Press Fit BB71-41B bottom bracket contribute to the efficiency and rigidity of the drivetrain. The Shimano 105 R7100 crankset is equipped with different crank arm lengths depending on the frame size: 170 mm for sizes XS and S, 172.5 mm for M and L, and 175 mm for XL. The Shimano 105 R7100 crankset offers a gradation of 11-34T, which in combination with the Shimano 105 CN-M7100 drivetrain ensures a smooth ride.

The Lapierre aluminium handlebar has a width of 400 mm for sizes XS and S and 420 mm for M, L and XL. The drop is 130 mm and the reach is 80 mm. The grips are wrapped with Lapierre tape, which improves comfort and grip. The stem, also made from Lapierre aluminium, has internal cable routing and varies in length from 80 mm to 110 mm depending on the frame size.

The Acros AIX-532 headset ensures precise steering behaviour, while the Continental Ultra Sport III tyres in size 28-622 provide good grip and riding comfort. The wheels are Shimano RS171 and provide a solid base for every ride.

The Selle Italia Model X Superflow saddle offers comfort on long rides, while the Lapierre aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm provides additional stability. VP-335 Clips&Strap pedals round off the equipment.
