Lapierre Prorace 24

The 2022 Lapierre Prorace 24 is a bike model that stands out for its well-thought-out features and solid construction. The frame is made from Prorace 24" Supreme 4 Alloy and is specifically designed for V-brakes, providing a robust and durable foundation for young riders. The brakes are Alhonga V-Brake HJ-721 ADX, which ensure reliable braking power.

The gear system comprises a Shimano RD-TY300 7-speed rear derailleur, which, in combination with the Shimano STEF500 shifter, ensures precise gear changes. The front derailleur is a Shimano Tourney FD-TY301, which supports smooth shifting performance. The stem is an MtB Alloy AS-M05 with a 0° angle and a length of 45 mm. The headset is a threadless CH-281 TCBW with a diameter of 1.1/8", made of steel.

The rims are made from a lightweight alloy in the 24x1.75 single-wall size with 28H CNC machining. The tyres are Impac (Schwalbe) Ridgepac, size 54-507, which provide good grip on a variety of surfaces. The hubs are KT A15F at the front and KT A12R at the rear, both threaded.

The saddle is the Lapierre VL-5061 model, mounted on an SP-342 seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 300 mm. The Lapierre Prorace 24 is available at a price of 439 EUR and offers a good balance of quality and value for money for young mountain bike enthusiasts.
