Lapierre eShaper 3.2

The Lapierre eShaper 3.2 from 2022 is a versatile e-bike which, at a price of 2,699 EUR, represents an attractive option in the e-bike market. The bike’s frame is made from New e-Shaper Supreme 5 aluminium, which is not only known for its lightness but also for its integrated cable routing and provision for a bike stand and mudguards. This gives the bike a clean, uncluttered look and enhances its functionality for everyday use.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-R280 flat-mount brakes, which are fitted with a 3-finger brake system and offer reliable stopping power. The gear system is provided by the Shimano Deore RD-M5100 with 11 speeds and Shadow+ technology, ensuring precise and smooth gear changes. The gear lever, also from the Shimano Deore range, complements the gear system and offers intuitive operation.

The eShaper 3.2’s fork combines carbon with an aluminium steerer tube, resulting in an optimal balance between weight and stability. The VP VPE-461 pedals offer a secure grip, whilst the Shimano Press Fit BB-RS500 bottom bracket ensures efficient power transfer. The Samox crankset, featuring a 40-tooth narrow-wide chainring, is available in various lengths depending on frame size.

The Shimano Deore CS-M5100 cassette, with its 11–51-tooth range, offers a wide variety of gear ratios, ideal for different types of terrain. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC X11 chain, which is renowned for its durability. The Lapierre aluminium handlebars are 620 mm wide and, together with the XLC Rounded grips, offer a comfortable ride.

The stem is also made from Lapierre aluminium and allows for internal cable routing. It is available in various lengths depending on frame size. The Acros AIX-532 headset ensures precise steering. The WTB i23 rims are tubeless-ready and, combined with the WTB Byway tyres in size 700x44, offer excellent traction and comfort on the road.

The eShaper 3.2 is fitted with a Selle Royal Vivo Ergo Reflective saddle, which not only offers comfort but also enhances visibility thanks to its reflective elements. The Lapierre Antishock seatpost further helps to absorb shocks and improves riding comfort.

The eShaper 3.2’s drive system is based on the Ebikemotion System X35+, which is fitted with a 250 Wh battery. This system provides motor assistance that integrates seamlessly with the bike’s handling. The One Remote Display allows for easy control of the electric assistance.
