Lapierre E-Urban 6.5

The 2022 Lapierre E-Urban 6.5 is a versatile e-bike designed for urban use. Priced at 2999 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and reliability. The bike features the New e-Urban Bosch Integrated frame, which allows for seamless integration of the Bosch Performance Line motor. This motor provides assistance up to speeds of 25 km/h and is powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensuring a decent range for everyday city commuting. The Purion display offers simple and intuitive control of the electric assistance.

Gear shifting is handled by the SHIMANO ALTUS RD-M2000 system with 9 speeds, operated via the Shimano Alivio SL-M3100 shifter with an optical gear indicator. The gear ratio is complemented by a Shimano Alivio CS-HG200 cassette with 11–36T. The chain is a KMC e9 Sport in silver and black, which is specifically designed for e-bikes.

The E-Urban 6.5 is fitted with an RST Volant fork, which offers 50 mm of travel and thus effectively absorbs bumps in urban environments. The brakes are Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance.

The handlebars are made from Lapierre 6061DB alloy, with a width of 640 mm and a rise of 25 mm, which allows for a comfortable riding position. The grips are ergonomically shaped by XLC to enhance riding comfort. The stem is adjustable and offers an angle range of 0–70° to allow for individual adjustment of the riding position.

The Ryde ECO21 rims are robust and fitted with Continental Contact Urban tyres, which ensure safety and grip in urban traffic. These tyres feature the SafetyPro and PureGrip compounds, as well as reflective strips for improved visibility.

Additional comfort is provided by the Selle Royal Wave saddle, combined with a Lapierre aluminium seatpost, which has a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The pedals are VP VPE-461, which ensure stability whilst riding.
