Lapierre E-Explorer 9.7 Mix

The 2022 Lapierre E-Explorer 9.7 Mix is a versatile e-bike designed for both urban use and off-road excursions. This model is priced at 4499 EUR. The e-bike’s frame is made from a robust New Overvolt HT Mix Integrated Bosch Supreme 5 alloy with UDH dropouts and is designed to accommodate both mudguards and a kickstand.

The braking system features a Shimano M4100 with four pistons at the front and two pistons at the rear, ensuring reliable braking power. The drivetrain is complemented by a Shimano Deore RD-M5100 11-speed Shadow+ system, which, together with the Shimano Deore SL-M5100 shifter, enables precise gear selection. The RockShox 35 Silver TK Air fork offers 120 mm of travel and is mudguard-compatible, which enhances comfort on uneven terrain.

The pedal system consists of VP VPE-527 pedals, whilst the crankset comprises a Lapierre Overvolt ISIS system with 160 mm (S/M) or 165 mm (L) cranks and an FSA Megatooth chainring with 38 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M5100 with a range of 11–51T, and the drivetrain uses a KMC E11 Turbo chain.

The handlebars are made from Lapierre 6061DB alloy, are 680 mm wide and have a rise of 15 mm and a backsweep of 25°. The grips are ergonomic models from XLC. The stem has an angle of 17° and a length of 90 mm. The headset is an FSA NO.55R/57E with a black anodised finish.

The rims are Lapierre eAM+ with 32 spoke holes, tubeless-compatible and measure 584x30C. The tyres are Schwalbe Johnny Watts, sized 65-584, and feature DD, Raceguard and a 67 TPI casing. The hubs are Shimano MT400 models with Boost thru-axle and Centre Lock.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo Ergo Reflective designed specifically for women, and the seatpost is a Lapierre Suspended Dropper with a diameter of 31.6 mm, 100 mm of travel and an additional 40 mm of suspension.

The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System motor, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Bosch PowerTube with a capacity of 750 Wh, ensuring extended rides without the need for frequent recharging. The display consists of an LED Remote and a KIOX 300, which allow for easy control and an overview of ride data.
