Lapierre E-Explorer 7.6 LS

Lapierre’s 2022 “E-Explorer 7.6 LS” model is a versatile e-bike designed for both urban and light off-road use. The frame is made from the robust New Overvolt Explorer Low Step Integrated Yamaha Supreme 5 alloy, which offers both stability and a comfortable ride. The price for this model is €3,499, which seems justified given its extensive features and high-quality components.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano M4100 dual-piston brakes, which ensure reliable deceleration in a variety of riding situations. The drivetrain is fitted with the Shimano Deore RD-M5100, an 11-speed Shadow+ system which, in combination with the Shimano Deore M5100 shifter, enables precise and smooth gear changes. The SR Suntour MOBIE 32 NLO fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain.

The E-Explorer 7.6 LS is fitted with VP VPE-461 pedals and a LAPIERRE OVERVOLT BNI crankset featuring an FSA Megatooth chainring with 38 teeth. The Shimano Deore CS-M5100 cassette offers a range of 11–51T across 11 gears, allowing for flexible adaptation to different terrains. Power is transmitted via a KMC e11 Sport Silver-black chain.

The handlebars are made from Lapierre 6061DB alloy, with a width of 660 mm and a rise of 26 mm, complemented by XLC Ergonomic grips for added comfort. The adjustable XLC stem allows for adjustment between 0 and 50 degrees of tilt. The Feimin-H858 headset contributes to steering precision.

The Schürmann Yak25 rims are fitted with WTB Intersector tyres, which provide good traction and puncture protection thanks to their Flat Guard technology and Dual DNA compound. The Lapierre DA210 hubs are fitted with sealed bearings, guaranteeing a long service life and smooth rides.

The Selle Royal Vivo Ergo Reflective Women’s saddle offers comfort and safety, whilst the Lapierre Suspended Dropper seatpost, with 100 mm of travel and additional suspension, further enhances riding comfort. At the heart of the e-bike is the Yamaha PW-ST motor with a 630 Wh in-tube battery, which, in combination with the Display A, offers intuitive control and comprehensive information whilst riding. This e-bike model combines technological innovation with practicality, making it an attractive option for discerning cyclists.
