Lapierre E-Explorer 7.6

The 2022 ‘E-Explorer 7.6’ model from Lapierre offers an impressive combination of performance and comfort for discerning e-bike riders. Priced at EUR 3,499, it falls within the mid-range price bracket and offers a wide range of high-quality components.

The frame of the E-Explorer 7.6 is made from the new Overvolt Explorer Integrated Yamaha Supreme 5 Alloy, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction. The brakes are fitted with Shimano M4100 2-piston calipers, which provide reliable stopping power. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore RD-M5100, an 11-speed Shadow+ rear derailleur, which, together with the Shimano Deore M5100 shifter, enables precise gear changes.

The SR Suntour XCR 34 AIR Boost fork, with 80 mm of travel, offers good damping and control on uneven terrain. Additional comfort is provided by the VP VPE-461 pedals and the Lapierre Suspended Dropper seatpost with 100 mm of adjustment and 40 mm of travel, operated by a Shimano lever.

The e-bike’s drive is powered by a Yamaha PW-ST motor with a maximum speed of 25 km/h, which is powered by an integrated 630 Wh Intube battery. Control is via Display A, which allows for easy operation.

Optimal riding comfort is ensured by the Lapierre aluminium handlebars, which are 680 mm wide and have a 15 mm rise, as well as the ergonomic XLC grips. The stem, with a 17° angle and a length of 90 mm, contributes to a comfortable riding position.

The Schürmann Yak25 rims with 32 spokes and the WTB Intersector tyres offer stability and traction on a variety of surfaces. The hubs are fitted with sealed bearings; the Lapierre DA210 front hub with 15x110 Boost standard and the Lapierre DA210 rear hub with 12x148 Boost standard ensure a robust connection.

The E-Explorer 7.6 is rounded off by the Selle Royal Vivo Ergo Reflective saddle, which provides additional comfort. Overall, the Lapierre E-Explorer 7.6 offers a well-balanced combination of performance, comfort and reliability, ideal for exploring both on and off the beaten track.
