Lapierre E-Explorer 6.5

The "E-Explorer 6.5" model from Lapierre, released in 2022, is a versatile e-bike available at a price of 3,199 EUR. It features robust and modern specifications, making it suitable for both everyday use and more demanding rides. The frame is made from the high-quality New Overvolt Explorer Integrated Bosch Supreme 5 alloy, which ensures stability and durability.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT200 brakes, which are renowned for their reliability and effectiveness. The gear system is supported by the Shimano Deore RD-M4120, 10s Shadow +, whilst the gear lever is fitted with a visual gear indicator. The fork, an SR Suntour XCM 32 DS, offers comfortable suspension on uneven terrain with its 80 mm travel.

The e-bike is fitted with VP VPE-461 pedals and a LAPIERRE OVERVOLT BNI crankset, which is combined with a 38-tooth FSA Megatooth chainring. The cassette, a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 with an 11–46T range, ensures a versatile gear ratio. The drivetrain is complemented by the KMC e10 Sport Silver-black chain.

The Lapierre 6061DB alloy handlebars are 680 mm wide and, with a 15 mm rise and a 25° backsweep, offer an ergonomic riding position. The XLC Ergonomic grips further enhance riding comfort. The Lapierre stem has a 17° angle and a length of 90 mm.

The rims are Schürmann Yak25, fitted with WTB Intersector tyres, which ensure good grip thanks to their Flat Guard technology and Dual DNA compound. The hubs are Lapierre DA210 and, with their sealed bearings, offer a smooth ride.

The saddle, a Selle Royal Vivo Ergo Reflective, offers comfort even on longer rides. The XLC seatpost features suspension with 40 mm of travel, which further enhances shock absorption.

The e-bike is powered by the Bosch Performance Line motor, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensures a sufficient range. The Purion display allows for easy control and monitoring of the system settings.
