Lapierre E-Explorer 4.5

The 2022 Lapierre E-Explorer 4.5 is a modern e-bike which, at a price of 2999 EUR, represents an attractive option for cyclists looking for a reliable and well-equipped model. The bike’s frame is made from the New Overvolt Explorer Integrated Bosch Supreme 5 alloy, which is renowned for its stability and durability. At the heart of the drive system is the Bosch Active Line Plus motor, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h, whilst the Bosch PowerTube 400 battery, with a capacity of 400 Wh, ensures sufficient power.

To ensure a safe ride, the bike is fitted with Shimano MT200 brakes, which are renowned for their reliability and excellent braking performance. Gear shifting is handled by the Shimano Altus RD-M2000, a 9-speed rear derailleur combined with the Shimano Alivio SLM3100 shifter, which features an optical gear indicator display. The SR Suntour XCM 32 DS fork, with 80 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain.

The E-Explorer 4.5 is fitted with VP VPE-461 pedals and features a Lapierre Overvolt BNI crankset with a 38-tooth FSA Megatooth chainring. The stem has a 17° angle and a length of 90 mm, whilst the headset is a Feimin H868PX in black. The Schürmann Yak25 rims with 32 spokes are robust and designed for disc brakes. The WTB Intersector tyres, size 58-584, offer good grip and durability. The hubs are Lapierre DA210 models with sealed bearings; the front wheel is not Boost standard, whilst the rear wheel is Boost standard.

The Selle Royal Vivo Ergo Reflective saddle offers comfort even on longer rides and is mounted on a Lapierre aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The model is rounded off by the Purion display, which provides the rider with all the relevant information at a glance.
