Lapierre CROSSHILL CF 8.0

The "CROSSHILL CF 8.0" model from Lapierre, released in 2025, is a versatile and high-performance gravel bike that, at a price of 5,999 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The bike’s frame is the Lapierre Crosshill CF, fitted with a 142/100 flat mount for disc brakes, and offers a robust construction with a maximum permissible weight of up to 120 kg.

The braking system is fully equipped with Sram Force components. Both the front and rear brakes are fitted with 160 mm SRAM Force discs, whilst the brake rotors are from the SRAM Paceline series. The brake levers are the SRAM Force ETAP AXS, which ensure precise and reliable braking performance.

For gear changes, the bike is fitted with the SRAM Force XPLR AXS 12s system, which features 12 gears and is controlled by the SRAM Force AXS D2 shifter. The drivetrain is complemented by a Sram Force Dub Wide carbon crankset with a 40-tooth chainring and a Sram XG 1251 XPLR cassette with a 10–44-tooth range, enabling efficient power transfer.

The RockShox Rudy Ultimate Race Day 2 fork offers 30 mm of travel and is fitted with a 12 x 100 mm thru-axle, providing additional stability and comfort. The bike is fitted with VP VPE-527 alloy pedals, which feature reflectors.

The handlebars on the CROSSHILL CF 8.0 are the Lapierre RB146 carbon model, 420 mm wide, combined with Lapierre Tape grips and a JD ST-344 stem. The Acros ICR headset ensures precise steering. The wheels are DT Swiss GRC 1600 Spline, with a 12x100 mm front axle and a 12x142 mm rear axle, fitted with WTB Raddler TCS LIGHT tyres in size 700x44c, which feature a tan wall and a 60 TPI casing.

The Fizik Terra Argo X7 saddle, with a width of 150 mm, offers comfort for longer rides, whilst the aluminium seatpost from Lapierre has a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm. The bike’s geometry features a reach of 367 mm, a stack of 546 mm, a head tube angle of 71 degrees, a seat tube angle of 74 degrees, a head tube length of 95 mm, a chainstay length of 430 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 71 mm, a fork offset of 45 mm, a fork top height of 425 mm and a wheelbase of 1007 mm. These dimensions ensure a balanced riding position and agile handling on a variety of surfaces.
