KTM X-STRADA PRIME

The "X-STRADA PRIME" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a high-quality gravel bike that stands out for its first-class specifications and modern technology. The frame is made from X-Strada Gravel Premium Carbon (R-2980), which not only ensures a low weight of 9 kg but also provides high stability and durability. The maximum rider weight is 109 kg, allowing for versatile use.

The bike is fitted with SRAM Rival hydraulic disc brakes, which deliver reliable and powerful braking performance. The drivetrain is an electronic SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS with 12 speeds, enabling precise and rapid gear changes. The shift levers are also from SRAM (Rival eTap AXS HRD) and offer intuitive operation.

The RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR fork, with 40 mm of travel and a 12x100 mm tapered axle, provides additional comfort and control on uneven terrain. The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB press-fit road bottom bracket with a width of 86.5 mm, whilst the crankset is a SRAM Rival 1 Wide DUB with 42 teeth. The cassette (SRAM Rival XPLR XG-1251) offers a 10–44-tooth range, ensuring a wide gear ratio range.

The handlebars (KTM TEAM Road flare 16°) and stem (KTM Team Road 8°) are specifically tailored to the needs of gravel cyclists and provide an ergonomic and comfortable riding position. The grips are wrapped in KTM tape, providing extra grip and comfort. The headset is an Acros AICR internal model with an angle-limiting system (1.1/8"-1.5").

The bike rides on DT Swiss GR 1600 SPLINE CL rims (100/12TA at the front and 142/12TA at the rear, both 622x24TC), fitted with Continental Terra Speed TL tyres (40-622 ProTection). This combination offers excellent traction and durability on a variety of surfaces.

The saddle is a Selle San Marco Shortfit Open Fit Wide, which ensures a high level of comfort even on long rides. The seatpost (KTM Team 27.2/350) and seat clamp (KTM Team Light CL-FJ21 – 31.8 mm) round off the complete package.
