KTM X-STRADA PRIME

The "X-STRADA PRIME" model from KTM, launched in 2022, offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality features. Priced at 4099 EUR, this gravel bike is positioned in the premium segment and is aimed at discerning riders who value performance and quality.

The frame of the X-STRADA PRIME is made from X-Strada Gravel Premium Carbon (R-2980), ensuring both lightness and robustness. With a total weight of just 9 kg and a maximum load capacity of 109 kg, the bike is both easy to handle and robust.

The bike’s braking system is fitted with SRAM Rival hydraulic brakes, which, in combination with the SRAM Paceline CL 160 brake discs at the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the advanced SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS 12-speed system, which enables precise and rapid shifting. This is complemented by the SRAM Rival eTap AXS HRD shift levers.

The X-STRADA PRIME is fitted with a RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR fork, which offers 40 mm of travel and ensures stability thanks to its 12x100 mm tapered steerer tube. The crankset consists of a SRAM Rival 1 wide DUB with 42 teeth, whilst the cassette is a SRAM Rival XPLR XG-1251 with a 10–44 tooth range. Power is transmitted via a SRAM Rival flattop 12s chain.

The handlebars, a KTM TEAM Road flare with a 16° angle, and the KTM tape grips offer comfort and control. The stem is a KTM Team Road with an 8° angle, which, together with the headset (headtube cover ICR IS52), ensures stable steering.

The tyres are Continental Terra Speed TL 40-622 ProTection on both the front and rear, fitted to DT Swiss GR 1600 SPLINE CL wheelsets (front: 100/12TA / 622x24TC, rear: 142/12TA / 622x24TC). This combination offers excellent grip and durability on a wide variety of surfaces.

The saddle, a Selle San Marco Allroad with Manganese Rails, and the seatpost, a KTM Team 27.2/350, provide additional comfort and support whilst riding.
