KTM X-STRADA ELITE

The KTM X-STRADA ELITE from 2022 is a high-quality gravel bike that is characterised by its sophisticated equipment and first-class components. With a price tag of EUR 3099, it offers good value for money for ambitious cyclists.

At the heart of the bike is the X-Strada Gravel Premium Carbon frame (R-2980), which is not only known for its lightness but also for its robustness. The permissible total weight is 109 kg, while the bike itself weighs just 9 kg, which makes for an agile and easy-to-handle riding experience.

The brakes on the X-STRADA ELITE are Shimano GRX RX400 hydraulic brakes which, in combination with Shimano RT64 CL 160 brake discs front and rear, provide reliable and powerful braking performance. The drivetrain is a Shimano GRX RX810 shadow+ with 22 gears, which is complemented by Shimano GRX RX600 shifters and a Shimano GRX RX810 front derailleur. This configuration enables precise and smooth gear changes, even under demanding conditions.

The bike's fork is an X-Strada Gravel Performance Carbon with mounting options (F14), which provides additional stability and comfort. The crankset is a Shimano GRX RX600-11 with 46-30 teeth, while the sprocket is a Shimano HG700-11 with 11-34 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by a Shimano LG500 chain.

The handlebar is a KTM TEAM Road flare with a 16° angle, which enables an ergonomic hand position. The grips are wrapped with KTM tape to provide additional comfort. The stem is a KTM Team Road with an angle of 8°, and the headset is a headtube cover ICR IS52.

The tyres are Continental Terra Speed TL 40-622 ProTection, both front and rear, mounted on Mavic ALLROAD S DISC CL wheels (front: 100/12TA / 622x22TSS, rear: 142/12TA / 622x22TSS). This combination ensures excellent traction and durability on a wide variety of surfaces.

The saddle is a Selle San Marco RND with Manganese rails, which together with the KTM Team seatpost (27.2/350) ensures a comfortable riding position. Overall, the KTM X-STRADA ELITE offers excellent equipment and performance that is suitable for both long tours and demanding gravel routes.
