KTM X-STRADA 720

The 2021 "X-STRADA 720" model from the KTM brand is a high-quality gravel bike that is available for a price of EUR 1649. The frame is made of X-Strada AL6061tb and bears the code R-0090. The Shimano GRX RX400 2-piston system was chosen for the braking system, combined with Shimano RT64 CL 160 mm brake discs at the front and rear, which ensures reliable braking performance.

The gearing of the X-STRADA 720 is also from the Shimano GRX RX400 series, with a shadow RD+ rear derailleur and Shimano GRX RX400 STI shifters for precise and smooth gear selection. The front derailleur is also a Shimano GRX RX400 and completes the shifting system. The bike is equipped with an X-Strada Gravel Carbon/Alloy-shaft F13 fork, which ensures stability and comfort on rough terrain.

The crankset consists of the Shimano GRX RX600-10 with a gear ratio of 46-30 teeth. The sprocket is a Shimano HG50-10 with a gradation of 11-36, while the chain is a Shimano HG54-10, which ensures an efficient drive. The handlebar is a KTM Comp Road, which together with the KTM tape grips and a KTM Comp 7° stem enables a comfortable and ergonomic steering position. The headset is a KTM Team drop/in with a size of 1.1/8"-1.5".

Schwalbe G-One Bite Perf. RaceGuard TLE tyres in size 40-622 were chosen for the tyres, which are mounted on a robust wheelset. This consists of KTM Line - Shimano RS470 CL 32H 100-12TA hubs, Ryde Rival23 32H 622x23C rims and DT Champion 2.0 black spokes at the front. At the rear is the same combination with a KTM Line - Shimano RS470 CL 32H 142-12TA hub.

The saddle is a Selle Italia X3 flow, which together with the KTM Comp seatpost in size 27.2/350 ensures comfort on long rides. All in all, the KTM X-STRADA 720 offers well thought-out, high-quality equipment that is ideally suited for a wide range of gravel applications.
