KTM X-STRADA 30

The "X-STRADA 30" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a high-quality gravel bike characterised by its robust construction and well-thought-out features. Priced at 1199 EUR, it offers excellent value for money.

The bike’s frame is made from a 28" 6061 alloy GRAVEL construction with the designation R-2070, which is renowned for its stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 11 kg, making it a lightweight yet resilient companion.

For the brakes, KTM has opted for the Tektro MD-C400, which ensures reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The drivetrain is supplied by SRAM and features the Rival1 11-speed system. The shifter is an SRAM Rival22-11, which enables precise and rapid gear changes.

The X-STRADA 30’s fork is a rigid alloy gravel fork, which ensures stability and a direct riding feel. The bottom bracket is a SRAM POWER SPLINE 113/68, whilst the crankset consists of a SRAM S650 Eagle 38T. The cassette is a SRAM CS-PG-1130 with a 11–42T range, offering a wide variety of gears for different terrains. The drivetrain is complemented by a SRAM PC-1110 chain.

The handlebars are KTM Comp Race Bars, which, together with the orange KTM tape grips and end plugs, ensure comfort and control. The stem is a KTM Comp with a 7° angle, and the headset is a Ritchey OE Zero Logic 1.1/8" model.

The rims are KTM Line models at both the front and rear, combined with Shimano hubs (HB-TX505 CL 32H at the front and FH-TX505-8 CL 32H at the rear) and KTM 28" Sport rims (622x20). The spokes are black Pillar 2.0 INOX. The tyres are Maxxis Rambler 45-622, which are renowned for their excellent traction and durability.

The saddle is a KTM Line Sport, mounted on a KTM Comp 27.2 seatpost. The saddle is clamped using a KTM Line clamp QR with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
