KTM X-LIFE ROAD

The 2022 KTM X-LIFE ROAD is a versatile and robust bike that is ideal for off-road adventures and everyday use. Priced at 799 EUR, it offers good value for money.

The X-LIFE ROAD’s frame is made from a 28-inch 6061 alloy off-road construction, designated T-2380-M. This material ensures high stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 114 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 13 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT200 brakes, fitted with Shimano RT10 CL 160 mm brake discs at both the front and rear. The drivetrain is a Shimano Acera M3000-SGS Shadow with a total of 27 gears, operated via Shimano Altus M2010 shift levers. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Altus M370. This combination ensures precise and reliable gear changes.

The bike’s fork is a Suntour SF20-NEX HLO DS, which provides comfortable suspension, particularly on uneven terrain. The pedals are KTM LINE Cross BF, which ensure good grip and pedalling efficiency. The crankset consists of a Shimano Acera T3010 with 48-36-26T chainrings. The cassette is a Shimano Altus HG201-9 with a range of 11-34T, whilst the drivetrain is powered by a Shimano Capreo HG53 chain.

The handlebar system comprises a KTM LINE Riser 20 handlebar, KTM COMP ERGO Lock grips and a KTM LINE 15° stem. The headset is a RITCHEY Zero Logic PRESS FIT 1-1/8", which ensures precise steering.

The tyres are SCHWALBE SMART K-Guard 47-622 in black, fitted to both the front and rear, providing good grip and puncture protection. The wheelset consists of a KTM Line – Shimano Tourney HB-TX505 CL 32H 100 QR at the front and a KTM Line – Shimano Tourney FH-TX505-8 CL 32H 135 QR at the rear. Both wheels are size 622x20 and fitted with Pillar 2.0 INOX spokes in silver.

The saddle is a KTM LINE SPORT, mounted on a KTM LINE seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm, which provides additional comfort.
