KTM X-LIFE CROSS

The "X-LIFE CROSS" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a versatile bike designed for off-road use. Priced at 949 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of high-quality components and a robust design. The frame is constructed from 28" 6061 alloy (T-2380-M) and ensures stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 132 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 13 kg.

For the brakes, KTM has opted for Shimano MT201/MT200, complemented by Shimano RT10 CL 160 brake discs at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain is a SRAM SX EAGLE 12-speed system, controlled by a SRAM SX EAGLE TRIGGER SHIFTER, which enables precise and rapid gear changes.

The fork is a Suntour SF20-NEX HLO DS, which provides additional damping and comfort on uneven trails. The pedals are KTM COMP MTB BF pedals, which ensure a secure grip. The crankset consists of a SRAM S650 EAGLE with a 38T chainring, whilst the cassette is a SRAM PG-1210 EAGLE-12 with a range of 11–50T. The drivetrain is completed by the SRAM NX EAGLE.

The handlebars are KTM COMP Riser 20, fitted with KTM COMP ERGO Lock grips for added comfort. The stem is a KTM COMP with a 7° angle, and the headset is a RITCHEY Zero Logic PRESS FIT 1-1/8". The tyres are SCHWALBE SMART SAM Perf 44–622 in black, both front and rear. The wheelset consists of FR: KTM Line – Shimano Tourney HB-TX505 CL 32H 100 QR and RR:KTM Line – Shimano Tourney FH-TX505-8 CL 32H 135 QR, both fitted with KTM 28" Casual rims and Pillar 2.0 INOX spokes in silver.

The saddle is a KTM LINE SPORT, mounted on a KTM COMP seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. Overall, the KTM X-LIFE CROSS offers a well-thought-out specification that is suitable for both everyday use and more demanding off-road adventures.
