KTM X-LIFE ACTION

The 2023 "X-LIFE ACTION" model from KTM is a versatile off-road bike, priced at 1229 EUR, which places it in the mid-range price bracket. It features a robust frame made from 28" Alloy 6061 OFFROAD TB / T-2390, which ensures stability and durability. The maximum permissible weight is 132 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at just 12 kg, making it a lightweight yet robust choice for demanding riders.

The X-LIFE ACTION’s brakes are Shimano MT201 / MT200 2-piston models, which provide reliable and precise braking power. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore T6000-10 SGS Shadow, complemented by the Shimano Deore T6000-10 Display shifter and the Shimano Deore T6000 front derailleur. This combination offers excellent gear-changing performance and a wide range of gears.

The Suntour NCX-D Air LO fork, with 63mm of travel, provides comfortable damping and enhances riding comfort on uneven terrain. The pedals are KTM Comp MTB BF, which provide good grip and safety. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-ES300, whilst the crankset consists of a Shimano Deore T521 with 48-36-26T chainrings. The cassette is a Shimano HG500-10 with a 11-34 gear range, and the drivetrain uses a Shimano HG54-10 chain.

The handlebars are KTM Comp Rizer 15, 640 mm wide, offering good control and ergonomics. The grips are KTM Comp Ergo Lock, which provide extra comfort. The stem is a KTM Comp with a 17° angle, and the headset is a KTM Team drop/in 1.1/8"-1.5".

The rims are identical at the front and rear: KTM Line – Shimano HB-M4050 CL 32H 100 QR / KTM 28" Casual 32H; 622x19 / Richman 2.0 double-butted INOX, black. These are fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam Perf. tyres in size 44-622 RT Addix, which are renowned for their excellent grip and durability.

The saddle is a KTM Comp Hybrid, mounted on a KTM Comp seatpost with a diameter of 27.2mm. The saddle is clamped using a KTM Line clamp QR – 31.8mm, which allows for quick and easy adjustment.
