KTM WILD SPEED DISC 24

The "WILD SPEED DISC 24" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a high-quality youth bike available for 599 EUR. It features a 24" Light Alloy frame (K-1242) and has a maximum load capacity of 62 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 11 kg.

The braking system consists of Tektro HD-J285 JUNIOR brakes with Shimano RT10 CL 160 brake discs at the front and rear, ensuring reliable and safe braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano Altus M2000-9 SGS Shadow with Shimano Altus M2010-2 shift levers and offers a total of 9 gears. This allows for precise and easy gear selection.

Suspension is provided by a Suntour XCT-JR coil 24" fork with 80 mm of travel, which effectively absorbs bumps on rough terrain. The pedals are KTM Line Youth pedals, which are suitable for children’s hands and feet. The bottom bracket is a Shimano UN101-B22X, whilst the crankset is a Samox SAC13-111P1P with 32 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano HG201-9 with a gear ratio of 11–36, and power is transmitted via a KMC Z9 chain.

The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer20 BS with a 6° rise and a width of 560 mm, complemented by KTM Line Youngster WILD SPEED grips. The stem has a 7° angle and is specially designed for young riders. The headset is a Ritchey OE Zero Logic 1.1/8".

The tyres are Schwalbe Black Jack K-Guard 47-507 at both the front and rear, ensuring good grip and stability. The wheelset consists of KTM Line – SHIMANO HB-TX505 CL 32H QR hubs and KTM YOUTH 24" Alloy DISC 32H rims with stainless steel spokes. The front and rear rims are KTM Line - Shimano HB-TX505 CL 32H 100 QR and FH-TX505-8 CL 32H 135 QR respectively, with dimensions of 507x19 and Pillar 2.0 INOX spokes in silver.

The saddle is a KTM Line Youngster Saddle, mounted on a KTM Line Youth seatpost, which is secured by a KTM Line Kids clamp screw – 31.8mm saddle clamp.
