KTM WILD CROSS 24

The 2023 "WILD CROSS 24" model from KTM is a versatile and robust bicycle designed specifically for young riders. Priced at 489 EUR, it offers solid specifications and high quality, ensuring an enjoyable and safe riding experience.

The bike’s frame is made from lightweight aluminium (24" Light Alloy / K-1241), resulting in a total weight of just 9 kg. The maximum rider weight is 60 kg, which ensures sufficient stability and safety. The rigid aluminium fork helps to reduce weight and ensures direct steering.

The WILD CROSS 24 is fitted with VL420DG / V995DG V-brakes, which provide reliable braking power. The gear system consists of a Shimano Tourney TY200-6/7 with a Shimano RV200-7 Revoshifter display, which allows for easy and precise gear selection. A total of seven gears are available, suitable for various types of terrain.

The drivetrain comprises a Samox crankset (SAC13-111P1P 32T), a Feimin bottom bracket (B908N) and a KMC Z7 chain. The cassette is a Shimano TZ510-7 with a gear ratio of 14–34 teeth, offering a good balance between speed and climbing ability.

Comfort and control are ensured by the KTM Line Rizer40 handlebars, which are 560 mm wide and have a 10° backsweep, as well as the KTM Line Youngster grips. The stem is a KTM Youth with a 7° angle; the headset is also a KTM Line Youth Wild Cross.

The wheelsets consist of robust 24" rims (KTM Line – KT-A1GF at the front and KT-A2QR at the rear) with stainless steel spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe Black Jack K-Guard 47-507, fitted to both the front and rear, offering good grip and puncture protection.

The saddle is a KTM Line Youngster Saddle, mounted on a KTM Line Youth seatpost. The saddle is clamped in place using a KTM Line Kids clamp screw with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
