KTM WILD CROSS 16

The "WILD CROSS 16" model from KTM, launched in 2023, offers a balanced combination of lightweight construction and robust components, designed specifically for young riders. The frame is made from a lightweight aluminium alloy (16" Light Alloy / K-1165) and contributes to a total weight of just 8 kg, whilst the maximum permissible weight is 36 kg. This ensures easy handling and a safe riding experience.

The WILD CROSS 16 is fitted with Tektro JL350-RS / 837AL V-brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance. The rigid aluminium fork contributes to the bike’s stability and durability. The pedals are specially designed for children and are from the KTM Line Kids range. The bottom bracket is a Feimin B908L, and the crankset is a Samox SAC38J-111A with 28 teeth. The sprocket is a Dicta A8N17BN with 17 teeth.

The drivetrain is protected by the Hebie Chainlooper 0357 28T, which enhances safety and makes maintenance easier. The handlebars are a KTM Line Rizer40 BS 10°, 480 mm wide, and, together with the KTM Line Kids grips (non-toxic), offer comfortable and safe handling. The stem is a KTM Kids 20°, whilst the headset is an H141AM 1" 10 mm.

The WILD CROSS 16 is fitted with Schwalbe BLACK JACK K-Guard tyres at the front and rear, in sizes 47-355 (front) and 47-305 (rear), both in black. The wheelsets consist of KTM Line - WELLRUN alloy ball-bearing hubs with 16 spokes and CNC-machined rims in sizes 18" (front) and 16" (rear), each fitted with stainless steel spokes (Pillar 2.0 INOX, silver).

The saddle is a KTM Line Kid with an integrated aluminium seatpost (25.4 mm), and it is secured using a KTM Line Kids clamp screw with a diameter of 25.4 mm. Additional protection is provided by the Hebie Chainlooper chain guard.
