KTM WILD CROSS 12

The "WILD CROSS 12" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a children’s bike that stands out for its high-quality materials and well-thought-out technical features. Priced at 349 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made of lightweight aluminium (12" Light Alloy / K-1125), which reduces the bike’s total weight to just 5 kg, making it easy to handle. The maximum load capacity is 25 kg.

The WILD CROSS 12 is fitted with Tektro JL350-RS / 837AL V-brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance. The rigid aluminium fork contributes to the bike’s stability and robustness. The pedals are specially designed for children (KTM Line Kids Pedal) to ensure a safe and comfortable ride.

The bottom bracket is a Feimin B908L, whilst the crankset is a Samox SAC38J-111A with 25 teeth. The sprocket is a Dicta A0N15BN with 15 teeth, and the drivetrain is protected by a Hebie Chainlooper 0357 with 25 teeth. The handlebars are a KTM Line Rizer40 BS with a 10° backsweep and a width of 480 mm, fitted with non-toxic KTM Line Kids grips. The stem has an angle of 20° and is specially designed for children.

The H141AM headset has a 1" thread and a height of 10 mm. The tyres are Schwalbe BIG APPLE K-Guard, size 50-254 at the front and size 50-203 at the rear, both in black. The front wheel set consists of a KTM Line – WELLRUN alloy ball bearing with a 16-hole clean bolt and a KTM KID 14" alloy CNC rim with 16 holes, as well as stainless steel spokes. At the rear, it is also a KTM Line – WELLRUN alloy ball bearing with 16-hole clean bolt and a KTM KID 12" alloy CNC with 16-hole design, along with stainless steel spokes.

The front rims are KTM Line – WELLRUN WR-662F with 16H and 75 OLD, as well as KTM Line 14" Kid with 16H; 254x17 and Pillar 2.0 INOX in silver. At the rear, they are KTM Line – WELLRUN KT-S14R with 16H and 75 OLD, as well as KTM Line 12" Kid with 16H; 203x17 and Pillar 2.0 INOX in silver.

The saddle is a KTM Line Kid with an integrated aluminium seat post (25.4 mm) and a seat post clamp (KTM Line Kids clamp screw – 25.4 mm). Chain protection is provided by a Hebie Chainlooper, which securely covers the chain.
