KTM PENNY LANE STREET 27

The "PENNY LANE STREET 27" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. The frame is made from a 27.5" 6061 alloy MTB STREET construction, ensuring durability and stability. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 16 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano Acera EF505 / MT200 brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano RT10 CL brake discs (180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear), ensure reliable deceleration. The gear system is fitted with the Shimano Tourney TX800-SGS system, complemented by the Shimano Altus EF505 shifter and the Shimano Altus M313 front derailleur. A total of 24 gears are available, allowing for flexible adaptation to different types of terrain.

The Suntour SF18-XCT-ATB DS fork provides solid suspension for uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Sate Lite G1 front light and the Sate Lite M4 rear light, which ensure good visibility in low-light conditions. The KTM LINE MTB BF pedals and the Shimano Tourney TY301 crankset with 42-34-22T chainrings provide efficient power transfer.

The drivetrain is supported by a KMC Z8.3 chain, whilst the cassette comprises a Shimano Tourney HG200-8 with 12-32T sprockets. The handlebars are KTM LINE Riser 12, complemented by KTM LINE MTB grips and a KTM LINE 15° stem. The headset is a RITCHEY Zero Logic PRESS FIT 1-1/8", which ensures precise steering.

The tyres are IMPAC SMARTPAC TwinSkin 54-584 in black, fitted to both the front and rear. The front wheel consists of a combination of KTM Line – Shimano DH-3D37 CL 32H 100 QR / KTM 27.5" Sport 32H; 587x20 / Pillar 2.0 INOX silver, whilst the rear consists of a KTM Line – Shimano Tourney FH-TX505-8 CL 32H 135 QR / KTM 27.5" Sport 32H; 587x20 / Pillar 2.0 INOX silver.

The saddle is a KTM LINE SPORT model, fitted to a KTM LINE 27.2 seatpost. An adjustable KTM Rear 28" kickstand completes the package and ensures the bike stands securely. The price for the PENNY LANE STREET 27 is 779 EUR.
