KTM MACINA STYLE 730

The "MACINA STYLE 730" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a versatile e-bike designed for trekking and priced at 4099 EUR. The frame is made from Macina Trekking Onroad Alloy 6061 and is designed for the Bosch Gen.4 system with a 750Wh PowerTube battery. The maximum permissible weight is 146 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 27 kg.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano MT402 (3-F) brakes and the MT420 4-piston brakes. The front is fitted with a Shimano RT30 CL 180 mm disc, whilst the rear features an EM300 CL 160 mm magnetic disc. Gear shifting is handled by the Shimano Deore M5130-10 LG shadow+ system, supported by the Shimano Deore M5130-10 LG Display shift lever. The Suntour NX1 coil LO fork offers additional comfort with its 63 mm travel.

Lighting is provided by the B&M Lumotec MYC LED front light (50 lux) and the B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light. The VP-616 trekking pedals with anti-slip coating ensure a secure grip. The crankset is a KTM COMP ISIS, 170 mm long with a Q-factor of 16 mm, whilst the cassette is a Shimano LG600-10 with a range of 11–43 teeth. The drivetrain is a Shimano LG500 system.

The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer20, 640 mm wide, complemented by Ergon GP30 SD grips with bar ends. The stem is a KTM Line model, adjustable from 0–60° and featuring internal cable routing. The headset is an Acros AICR internal with a 1.1/8"–1.5" angle limiter.

The tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Plus Perf. GreenGuard in size 50-622 at both the front and rear. The wheelset consists of KTM Line components, combined with Shimano Deore M6000 hubs and Ambrosio Sport 25 rims. The saddle is a Selle Royal Lookin+, mounted on a KTM Comp parallelogram seatpost measuring 30.9/350 mm.

Additional features include SKS A55K mudguards in a matt black finish, a KTM Type 7 chain guard for Bosch Gen.4, an adjustable KTM 28" kickstand and a KTM Tour luggage rack (snap-it 1.0).

Power is provided by the Bosch PERFORMANCE CX Gen.4 SMART SYSTEM motor, which offers assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. Power is supplied by the Bosch PowerTUBE 750Wh battery from the SMART SYSTEM, controlled via the Bosch KIOX 300 TFT SMART SYSTEM display and charged using the Bosch STANDARD Charger 4A smart system charger.

The MACINA STYLE 730 from KTM is therefore a robust and well-equipped e-bike that is ideally suited to both everyday use and longer trekking tours.
