KTM MACINA STYLE 720 ABS

The "MACINA STYLE 720 ABS" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its first-class technical specifications and features. Priced at 5199 EUR, this model offers excellent value for money.

The bike’s frame is made from Macina Trekking Onroad Alloy 6061 and is fitted with a Bosch Gen.4 motor delivering 85 Nm of torque. The integrated Bosch PowerTUBE 750Wh battery ensures a long range and is part of the SMART SYSTEM, which also includes the Bosch LED remote and the Bosch KIOX 300 TFT display. The maximum permissible weight is 147 kg, whilst the bike’s own weight is 28 kg.

Safety and control are ensured by the Magura CT Disc ABS with 4-piston brakes. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore XT M8130-11 LG shadow+ system, complemented by the Shimano Deore XT M8130-11 LG shift lever. The Suntour Mobie34 Air 29" fork, with 80 mm of travel and 15QLC Taper, offers a comfortable and stable ride.

Lighting is provided by the B&M Lumotec IQ-XS LED front light, with a luminous intensity of 100–150 lux, and the B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light. The pedals are non-slip VP-616 trekking pedals. The crankset is a KTM E-TEAM ISIS with a length of 170mm.

Power is transmitted via a KMC e11 Sport EPT e-bike chain, and the cassette is a Shimano LG400-11 with a gear ratio of 11–50. The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer20, 640mm wide, and the grips are Ergon GP30 SD with bar ends. The stem is adjustable from 0–60° and is also from KTM.

The front and rear rims are Ambrosio Sport 25 in 700C, combined with Shimano hubs and DT spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Plus Perf. GreenGuard, size 50-622, which provide excellent traction and puncture protection.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Lookin+, mounted on a KTM COMP II parallelogram seatpost measuring 30.9/350. The seatpost clamp is a KTM Line JD-SC99 with a diameter of 34.9 mm. In addition, the bike features SKS A55K mudguards in matt black, a KTM Type 7 chain guard for Bosch Gen.4 motors, an adjustable KTM 28" kickstand and a KTM Tour luggage rack with the Snap-It 1.0 system.

The charger is a Bosch STANDARD Charger with an output of 4A and is also part of the SMART SYSTEM. Overall, the MACINA STYLE 720 ABS offers a comprehensive range of features that make it ideally suited for both everyday use and longer tours.
