KTM MACINA STYLE 720

The "MACINA STYLE 720" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its numerous technical features and robust construction. Priced at 4599 EUR, it offers a wide range of features suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.

The frame of the MACINA STYLE 720 is made from Macina Trekking Onroad Alloy 6061 and is specifically designed for the Bosch Gen.4 motor with a PT750Wh battery. The maximum permissible weight is 147 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs around 27 kg. The model is fitted with Tektro TKD-139 / HD-E730 4-piston brakes, which ensure reliable and powerful braking performance.

The derailleur and shifter are from the Shimano Deore XT M8130-11 LG shadow+ series, which is renowned for precise and smooth gear changes. The fork is a Suntour NCX32-D Air LO with 63 mm of travel, which effectively absorbs shocks and uneven surfaces. Lighting is provided at the front by a B&M Lumotec IQ-XS LED with a luminous intensity of 100–150 lux, whilst a B&M Toplight 2C LED is fitted at the rear.

The pedals are VP-616 anti-slip trekking pedals, which ensure a secure grip. The crankset is a KTM E-TEAM ISIS with a length of 170 mm and a Q-factor of 16. The cassette is a Shimano LG400-11 with a range of 11–50 teeth, allowing for a versatile gear ratio. Power is transmitted via a KMC e11 Sport EPT e-bike chain.

The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer20, 640 mm wide, complemented by Ergon GP30 SD grips with bar ends for added comfort. The stem is adjustable (0–60°) and is also from KTM (ICR). The headset is an Acros AICR internal model with an angle-limiting system.

The rims are of different sizes at the front and rear: at the front, a KTM Line – Shimano Deore M6000 CL 32H 100-5QR / Ambrosio Sport 25 700C 32H 622x25C / DT Champion 2.0 black combination, and at the rear a KTM Line – Shimano UR600 CL 32H 135-5QR / Ambrosio Sport 25 700C 32H 622x25C / DT Alpine II 2.34 black combination. Both tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Plus Perf. GreenGuard 50-622, which are renowned for their durability and puncture resistance.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Lookin+, mounted on a KTM COMP II parallelogram seatpost (30.9/350). The saddle is clamped in place using a KTM Line JD-SC99 – 34.9mm clamp. SKS A55K mudguards (55mm, matt black) protect against splashes and dirt. A KTM Type 7 chain guard protects the chain and provides additional safety.

The bike also features an adjustable kickstand (KTM 28") and a luggage rack (KTM Tour Snap-It 1.0), which is ideal for carrying bags. The motor is a Bosch PERFORMANCE CX Gen.4 SMART SYSTEM with a top speed of 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 750 Wh and is also from Bosch (PowerTUBE SMART SYSTEM horizontal).

The display is a Bosch KIOX 300 TFT Display SMART SYSTEM, which, together with the Bosch LED remote SMART SYSTEM control unit, enables intuitive operation. The charger is a Bosch STANDARD Charger 4A SMART SYSTEM, which charges the battery efficiently.
