KTM MACINA SPORT SX PRIME

The "MACINA SPORT SX PRIME" model from KTM, released in 2024, is a high-quality e-bike designed for demanding trekking tours. Priced at 8,199 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and top-class components.

The bike’s frame is made from Macina Trekking Onroad Premium Carbon with UDH and CPT400Wh, ensuring both stability and lightness. The maximum permissible weight is 121 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 16 kg, making it one of the lighter models in its class.

Braking performance is provided by Magura MTI 2-piston brakes with Magura MDR-P CL 180 mm brake discs at the front and rear, offering reliable deceleration and control. Gear changes are handled by the SRAM X0 Eagle T-Type 12-speed system, controlled by the SRAM POD AXS controller, enabling precise and rapid gear changes.

Suspension is provided by a FOX Float 32 TC Factory fork with 50 mm of travel and a FIT4 damping system, ensuring comfort and control across a wide variety of terrain. Further features include VP-616 trekking pedals with an anti-slip function, an FSA KFX CK-9011/IS carbon crankset (170 mm) and an SRAM GX Eagle T-Type XS-1275 cassette with a gear ratio of 10–52T. The handlebars are KTM Team II low-riser bars, 660 mm wide, with ICR (Internal Cable Routing) for a clean look. The grips are Ergon GE10, which ensure a high level of comfort.

The rims are DT Swiss HEC 1400 SPLINE CL models, with 100/12TA axles at the front and 142/12TA axles at the rear, both in size 622x24TC. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Overland SuperGround TLE, sized 45-622, which offer excellent grip and puncture protection. The saddle is a Selle Royal Explora Gel, mounted on a KTM Team II seatpost measuring 27.2/350 mm.

The bike is also fitted with SKS EVO AL mudguards in matt black, which provide protection against dirt and splashes. An adjustable Hebie stand for 28-inch wheels and a KTM Alumee light luggage rack (snap-it 2.0) round off the specification, ensuring the bike is perfectly equipped for longer rides.
