KTM MACINA SPORT SX ELITE

The "MACINA SPORT SX ELITE" model from KTM, released in 2024, is a high-quality e-trekking bike which, at a price of 4299 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The bike’s frame is made from Macina Trekking Onroad Premium Carbon and, with a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, offers a robust yet lightweight construction that weighs just 18 kg in total.

Braking power is provided by Shimano MT402 (3-F) brakes at the front and MT410 2-piston brakes at the rear, complemented by Shimano RT64 CL brake discs measuring 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. Gear changes are managed by Shimano CUES U6000-10/11 shadow+ technology, controlled via a Shimano CUES U6000-10 shifter with a display. The Suntour NCX-D Air LO fork, with 63 mm of travel and a tapered head tube, ensures a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces.

The lighting system comprises a Litemove SE-150 LED front light with 150 lux and an AXA Juno LED rear light, ensuring optimum visibility. The pedals are non-slip VP-616 trekking pedals. The crankset is a KTM E-TEAM2 ISIS with a length of 170 mm and Q8, whilst the cassette is a Shimano LG400-10 with 11-48T. Power is transmitted via a KMC e500 LG e-bike chain.

The handlebar system consists of a KTM Team II low-riser 640 mm handlebar, Ergon GP1 SD grips, a KTM +20° ICR stem and an Acros ICR 1.5" angle-limit headset. The rims are KTM Line rims, paired at the front with a Shimano Deore M6000 CL hub and at the rear with a Shimano Deore M6010 CL hub. Both rims are fitted with Black Jack Ready25 32H rims and DT Champion and DT Alpine II spokes respectively. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Overland SuperGround TLE 45-622, fitted to both the front and rear.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Explora Gel, mounted on a KTM Team II seatpost measuring 27.2/350 mm and a 31.8 mm KTM Team Light seatpost clamp. SKS EVO AL mudguards, 55 mm wide and in a matt black finish, along with a Hebie 28" adjustable kickstand and a KTM light luggage rack (snap-it 2.0), round off the specification.

The bike is powered by a Bosch PERFORMANCE SX SMART SYSTEM motor, which provides assistance up to 25 km/h and a torque of 55 Nm. The battery is a Bosch PowerTUBE 400Wh SMART SYSTEM compact with a capacity of 400 Wh, which is charged via the Bosch Compact Charger 2A SMART SYSTEM. The Bosch PURION 200 Display & Remote SMART SYSTEM ensures simple and intuitive operation.
