KTM MACINA MULTI CX

The "MACINA MULTI CX" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a versatile e-bike available at a price of 4999 EUR. It features a robust frame made from Macina Multi CX 24" LongTail Alloy 6061 and is fitted with a Bosch Gen.4 motor, which delivers 85 Nm of torque and reaches speeds of up to 25 km/h. The frame is designed to withstand a maximum load of 220 kg, whilst the bike’s own weight is 29 kg.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano MT402 (3-F) / MT420 4-piston brakes, which ensure reliable and powerful deceleration. Gear changes are controlled by the Shimano Nexus 5 Revoshifter, whilst the 24" alloy cargo fork ensures a stable and comfortable ride. The lighting comprises the B&M Lumotec IQ-XS LED front light with 80 lux and the B&M Type 340 brex LED rear light, which ensure optimum visibility in the dark.

The bike is fitted with VPE-527 flat alloy MTB pedals and features a KTM E-LINE BNI crankset measuring 170 mm in length, as well as a Gates rearsprocket with 34 teeth and a Gates drive-belt system with 174T CDX for efficient power transmission. The handlebars are Ergotec Riserbars with a width of 780 mm, complemented by Ergon GP1 grips without bar ends. The stem is an Ergotec HighCarisma 50, and the headset is an Acros AICR internal model with angle limitation.

The rims consist of a combination of KTM Line – Shimano Deore M6010 CL 36H and Ryde Andra29 507x29C at the front, and KTM Line - Shimano Nexus 5 Disc CL 36H and Ryde Andra29 507x29C, both fitted with DT Alpine II 2.34 black spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe Pickup Super Defense, size 60-507, which ensure high stability and puncture resistance.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza EPTech, mounted on a KTM COMP II seatpost with a diameter of 34.9 mm and a length of 350 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a KTM Line JD-SC65A clamp with a diameter of 38.5 mm. The bike is also fitted with SKS C66R mudguards in matt black, which protect against dirt and spray.

An Ursus Jumbo EVO double-leg stand ensures the bike stands securely, whilst the KTM Cargo front rack can carry up to 20 kg and is compatible with the Snap it 2.0 system. Power is provided by the Bosch PERFORMANCE CX Gen.4 SMART SYSTEM motor in combination with a Bosch PowerPACK battery with a capacity of 725 Wh. The Bosch LED remote SMART SYSTEM display shows all key information, and charging is carried out using a Bosch STANDARD Charger 4A SMART SYSTEM charger.
