KTM MACINA GRAN 620

The "MACINA GRAN 620" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike priced at 3,899 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from Macina Trekking Onroad Alloy 6061 and is fitted with a Bosch Gen.4 motor, which delivers 85Nm of torque and assists up to a speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Bosch PowerTUBE with a capacity of 625 Wh, which is integrated horizontally into the frame. The bike’s maximum permissible weight is 146 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 26 kg.

The MACINA GRAN 620’s braking system consists of Shimano MT402 (3-F) brakes at the front and MT420 4-piston brakes at the rear, complemented by a Shimano RT30 CL 180 brake disc at the front and an EM300 CL 160 magnetic brake disc at the rear. The gear system is a Shimano Deore M5130-10 LG Shadow+ with the corresponding Shimano Deore M5130-10 LG display shifter.

The fork is a Suntour XCR 32 ATB coil 29" LO with 80 mm of travel. Lighting is provided by a B&M Lumotec MYC LED front light with 50 lux and a B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light. The pedals are non-slip VP-616 trekking pedals.

The drivetrain comprises a Shimano LG500 crankset (KTM COMP ISIS 170mm Q16) and a Shimano LG600-10 cassette with a gear ratio of 11–43. The handlebars are Ergotec Lady Town GH16, 630 mm wide, fitted with Ergon GP1 SD grips. The stem is a KTM Line UP3, which can be adjusted between 0 and 90°.

The bike is fitted with Schwalbe Al Ground Performance RaceGuard tyres (60-622) at both the front and rear. The wheelsets consist of KTM Line - Shimano Deore M6000 CL hubs and Ryde Rival30 rims (32L 622x30C), connected by DT Champion 2.0 black spokes at the front and DT Alpine II 2.34 black spokes at the rear.

The saddle is a comfortable Selle Royal Lookin+, mounted on a KTM Line seatpost (30.9/350). SKS A69R mudguards in matt black provide additional protection. A KTM Type 1 chain guard for the Bosch Gen.4 motor and an adjustable KTM 28" kickstand are also fitted. The luggage rack is a lightweight KTM Light (Snap-It 1.0) rack.

The bike is controlled via a Bosch INTUVIA LCD display with remote, and is charged using a Bosch STANDARD Charger 4A. The MACINA GRAN 620 is therefore a well-equipped and high-performance e-bike that is ideally suited to both everyday use and longer rides.
