KTM MACINA GRAN 291

The "MACINA GRAN 291" model from KTM, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike available for 3599 EUR. It features a robust frame made from Macina Onroad 29" Alloy 6061 and is fitted with a powerful Bosch PERFORMANCE CX Gen.4 motor, which offers maximum assistance up to 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. The integrated Bosch PowerTUBE battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensures an impressive range and is seamlessly integrated into the frame.

The bike is fitted with high-quality brakes, including the Shimano MT402 (3-F) and MT400 2-piston brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano RT54 CL brake discs (180 mm at the front, 160 mm at the rear) ensure excellent braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore M4120-10 SGS Shadow system, controlled via the Shimano Deore M4100-10 shifter with display.

A comfortable ride is ensured by the Suntour XCR 34 air fork with 100 mm travel and a 15x110 mm thru-axle. The lighting comprises the B&M Lumotec IQ-XS LED front light with 70 lux and the B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic.

The bike is also fitted with VP-616 trekking pedals, which offer a non-slip surface. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10 EPT e-bike chain, whilst the KTM COMP ISIS 170 mm Q16 crankset and the Shimano Deore M4100-10 cassette (11-42) ensure efficient pedalling.

The Ergotec Lady Town GH16 handlebars, with a width of 630 mm, and the Ergon GP1 SD grips with bar ends provide an ergonomic hand position. The adjustable KTM Line UP3 stem allows the steering angle to be adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees.

Additional comfort is provided by the Selle Royal Lookin+ saddle, mounted on a KTM Line seatpost measuring 30.9/350 mm. The Schwalbe Marathon Almotion Perf. RaceGuard tyres (55-622) offer good grip and puncture protection, whilst the wheelset consists of KTM Line – Shimano MT400B CL hubs and Ryde Rival30 rims, laced with DT Champion and DT Alpine II spokes.

The bike is also fitted with SKS A65R mudguards in matt black, which protect against dirt and splashes. The KTM 28" adjustable kickstand ensures the bike stands securely, whilst the KTM Racktime light luggage rack (snap-it 1+2) provides space for luggage. The Bosch INTUVIA LCD display with remote control rounds off the package, offering user-friendly control and a display of all key riding data.
