KTM MACINA FUN A510

The “MACINA FUN A510” model from KTM, released in 2023, is a versatile e-bike designed for trekking and is available at a price of 3099 EUR. The frame is made from Macina Trekking Onroad Alloy 6061 and is fitted with a UC-PP500Wh Bosch Gen.3 / T-9700 system. The bike’s maximum permissible weight is 144 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 24 kg.

For the brakes, KTM has opted for the Shimano MT200 / MT200 2-piston calipers, which ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Alivio M3100-9 SGS Shadow system and the accompanying Shimano Alivio M3100-9 Display shifter, enabling precise and easy gear selection. The Suntour NEX-E25 coil NLO fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven terrain.

The lighting comprises a B&M Lumotec DOPP LED front light with 35 lux and a B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in the dark. The VP-616 trekking pedals feature an anti-slip coating to provide a secure grip. The crankset is a KTM E-LINE BNI with a length of 170 mm and a Q16 chainring, whilst the cassette is a Shimano HG201-9 with an 11-36 gear range.

The drivetrain is powered by the Shimano E6070-9 e-bike system. The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer20, 640 mm wide, complemented by Ergon GP1 SD grips for added comfort. The stem is a KTM Line UP3, which can be adjusted within a range of 0–90°. The headset is a Ritchey OE Zero Logic 1.1/8".

The wheel combination consists of a KTM Line - Shimano MT200 CL 32H 100-5QR / Ambrosio Track Disc 32H 622x20C / DT Champion 2.0 black at the front and a KTM Line - Shimano Acera M3050 CL 32H 135-5QR / Ambrosio Track Disc 32H 622x20C / DT Alpine II 2.34 black. Both tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Plus Perf. GreenGuard 40-622, which provide good traction and puncture protection.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza+ and is fitted to a KTM Line Elegance suspension seatpost measuring 30.9/300. The saddle is clamped using a KTM Line JD-SC99 with a diameter of 34.9 mm. SKS B46R mudguards in gloss black and an SKS Chainblade chain guard with 42T provide additional protection against dirt and water. An adjustable kickstand for 28" wheels and a KTM Tour luggage rack (Snap-It 1.0) round off the specification.

The motor is manufactured by Bosch and is the ACTIVE PLUS Gen.3 model, offering assistance up to 25 km/h and a torque of 50 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is charged using a Bosch COMPACT Charger 2A. The Bosch PURION LCD display provides a clear overview of all key information whilst riding.
