KTM MACINA CROSS LFC

The 2021 "MACINA CROSS LFC" model from KTM offers an impressive combination of high-quality components and sophisticated technology at a price of 3299 EUR. The frame is made from Macina Trekking Offroad Alloy 6061 and is designed for a Bosch Gen.3 motor with a torque of 65Nm and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The integrated Bosch PowerTUBE battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensures a long range.

Safety and control are ensured by the Tektro HD-E390 2-piston brakes, which are fitted at the front with a Tektro TR-45 brake disc in sizes 180mm and 160mm. The gear system is a Shimano Deore M5100-11 SGS shadow+ with a matching shifter, also from Shimano Deore, which includes a display. The Suntour NCX-D coil LO fork, with 63mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain.

Lighting is provided by a B&M Lumotec MYC LED front light with 50 lux, ensuring good visibility in the dark. The pedals are aluminium MTB pedals, model VP-195E. The crankset is a KTM LINE BNI with a length of 170 mm and a Q-factor of 16. The cassette is a Shimano Deore M5100-11 with a gear ratio of 11–51 teeth, and the drivetrain uses a KMC e11 Sport EPT e-bike chain.

The handlebars are KTM Comp low risers, 640 mm wide, complemented by Ergon GP30 SD grips with bar ends. The stem is a KTM Line with a 20° angle and internal cable routing, whilst the headset is an Acros AICR internal 1.1/8>1.5" angle limit. Schwalbe Smart Sam Perf. tyres in size 44-622 provide contact with the road.

The front wheelset consists of a KTM Line – Shimano Deore M6000 CL hub with 32 spokes and an Ambrosio Sport Disc rim (622x23C), as well as DT Champion 2.0 black spokes; the rear wheelset is also a KTM Line - Shimano Deore M6000 CL hubs with 32 spokes and an Ambrosio Sport Disc rim (622x23C), as well as DT Alpine II 2.34 black spokes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Lookin Athletic, fitted to a KTM Comp seatpost measuring 30.9/350. The bike is also fitted with Racktime aluminium mudguards (52mm) and a B&M Xeltec system. An adjustable KTM stand for 28" wheels ensures stability when parked, and the Wingee aluminium luggage rack allows for the attachment of bags or baskets.

The Bosch INTUVIA LCD display with remote control rounds off the specification by clearly showing the rider all the important information and enabling easy control. Overall, the KTM MACINA CROSS LFC offers a well-thought-out specification for versatile use in trekking and off-road riding.
