KTM MACINA CITY XL RT

The 2021 "MACINA CITY XL RT" model from KTM is a high-quality e-bike designed for urban use and priced at 3799 EUR. The frame is made from Macina City US Disc Alloy 6061 and is fitted with a PT625Wh Bosch Gen.4 battery, which ensures a long range.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT402 (3-F) / MT400 2-piston brakes in combination with Shimano RT30 CL brake discs (180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear). These components deliver reliable and powerful braking. Gear changes are controlled via a Shimano Nexus 5 Revoshifter, which allows for simple and precise operation.

The Suntour NCX-D coil LO 63mm (HD) fork provides comfortable suspension that effectively absorbs bumps in the road. Lighting is provided by a B&M Lumotec MYC LED front light with 50 lux and a B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light, ensuring good visibility even in the dark.

The VP-616 trekking pedals are anti-slip, ensuring a secure grip. The crankset consists of a KTM COMP ISIS 170mm Q16 and an ESJOT 30T chainring, whilst the drivetrain is powered by a KMC Z1eHX chain. The handlebars are Ergotec Lady Town GH16, 630 mm wide, and are fitted with Ergon GP1 short grips without bar ends. The stem is an adjustable Ergotec Swell RE70.

The headset is an Acros AICR internal 1.1/8"-1.5" angle limit, which ensures precise steering. The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus Perf. DualGuard 50-622, which are renowned for their durability and puncture resistance. The wheelset consists of a KTM Line – Shimano Deore M6000 CL 36H 100-5QR / Ryde Andra29 36H 622x29C / DT Champion 2.0 black at the front and a KTM Line - Shimano Nexus 5 Disc 5-bolt 36H 135-5QR coaster brake / Ryde Andra29 36H 622x29C / DT Alpine II 2.34 black.

The saddle is a comfortable Selle Royal Viaggio City, fitted to a bySchulz G2.ST suspension seatpost measuring 30.9/400 mm. The mudguards are SKS B55 in gloss black with spoilers. A KTM Type 4 chain guard for Bosch Gen.4 and an adjustable KTM 28" kickstand are also fitted. The luggage rack is a KTM Racktime Tour (Snap-It 1+2), which offers versatile transport options.

The e-bike is powered by a Bosch PERFORMANCE CX Gen.4 motor with a top speed of up to 25 km/h and a torque of 75 Nm. The Bosch PowerTUBE battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, is integrated horizontally into the frame. The Bosch INTUVIA LCD display with remote control provides a user-friendly interface for controlling the e-bike.
