KTM MACINA CITY A510

The "MACINA CITY A510" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a versatile e-bike that is ideal for urban use. Priced at 3,399 EUR, it offers a solid specification and high-quality components. The e-bike’s frame is made from Macina City US Alloy 6061 and elegantly integrates the Bosch PowerTUBE 500Wh battery. The maximum permissible weight is 146 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 27 kg.

Reliable braking performance is provided by the Shimano MT200 brakes with a 2-piston system, combined with Shimano RT30 CL brake discs (180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear). Gear changes are controlled via the Shimano Nexus hub gear system, operated by the Shimano Nexus 5 Revoshifter. The Suntour NX1 coil LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven roads.

The lighting comprises the B&M Lumotec DOPP LED front light (35 lux) and the B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in traffic. The VP-616 trekking pedals are non-slip and contribute to safety. The KTM LINE BNI crankset measures 170 mm and is paired with an Esjot 30T chainring, whilst the drivetrain is powered by a KMC Z1eHX chain.

The handlebars are KTM Line Noirette Plus, 660 mm wide, complemented by Ergon GP1 grips without bar ends for a comfortable grip. The stem is adjustable from 0 to 60 degrees and has internal cable routing, ensuring a clean look. The headset is an Acros AICR internal 1.1/8"-1.5" angle limit.

The tyres are Conti e-Contact Plus 50-622 Reflex, fitted to both the front and rear, mounted on a wheelset consisting of KTM Line rims and Shimano hubs. The Selle Royal Essenza+ saddle and the KTM Line Elegance suspension seatpost offer additional comfort. Mudguards from SKS (B55 55mm black glossy spoiler) and a KTM chain guard for Bosch Gen.4 protect against dirt and moisture.

An adjustable kickstand for 28" wheels and a KTM Tour luggage rack (snap-it 1.0) complete the specification. Power is provided by a Bosch ACTIVE PLUS Gen.3 motor with a top speed of up to 25 km/h and a torque of 50 Nm. The Bosch INTUVIA LCD display with remote control allows for easy control and monitoring of the e-bike, whilst the Bosch COMPACT Charger 2A provides the necessary power supply.
