The “MACINA CITY 710 belt” model from KTM, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its advanced technology and excellent features. Priced at 4999 EUR, it offers a wide range of features that are suitable for both everyday city commuting and longer rides.

The bike’s frame is made from Macina City Alloy 6061 and is specifically designed for use with the Bosch Gen.4 motor and a 750Wh PowerTube battery. This frame ensures high stability and a maximum load capacity of up to 148 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 29 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Magura CT disc brakes with 2-piston calipers, combined with Magura MDR-C brake discs (180 mm at the front, 160 mm at the rear). These brakes offer reliable and powerful deceleration in any situation. The gear system is controlled by an Enviolo Controller System, operated via an Enviolo Controller Twist Display Pro shifter, which allows for continuous adjustment of the gear ratio.

The Suntour NCX-E Air LO fork, with 63 mm of travel and a 15QLC thru-axle, ensures a comfortable ride by effectively absorbing bumps. The bike is fitted with Continental e-Contact Plus tyres (50-622), which are fitted to both the front and rear and feature reflective strips for added safety. The wheelsets consist of a KTM Line – Shimano Deore M6010 CL front hub and an Ambrosio Sport 25 rim, as well as a KTM Line – Enviolo TR-380% rear hub and an Ambrosio Sport 25 rim.

The Selle Royal Lookin+ saddle, combined with a Suntour SP17-NCX suspension seatpost, ensures added comfort. Mudguards from SKS (B55, 55 mm, gloss black) and an SKS Chainblade chain guard provide protection against dirt and wet conditions. An adjustable KTM 28" kickstand and a KTM Tour luggage rack (snap-it 1.0) round off the specification.

The Bosch PERFORMANCE CX Gen.4 SMART SYSTEM motor delivers assistance up to 25 km/h with a torque of 85 Nm. The Bosch PowerTUBE 750Wh battery ensures a long range, whilst the Bosch KIOX 300 TFT display clearly shows all the important information. The charger is a Bosch STANDARD Charger with 4A for the Smart System.
