KTM LIFE JOY

The "LIFE JOY" model from KTM, released in 2023, offers a balanced combination of comfort, functionality and reliability at a price of 929 EUR. The bike’s frame is constructed from 28” 6061 ONROAD / T-1450 alloy, providing a robust yet lightweight base with a total weight of 16 kg. The maximum load capacity is 117 kg, providing ample space for the rider and additional luggage.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro 837AL brakes, which ensure reliable deceleration and safety. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Altus M310-7/8, whilst the Shimano EF500-8 2F shifters and the Shimano Tourney TY601 front derailleur enable precise and smooth gear changes. The Suntour M3010 coil 20" fork with 40 mm of travel provides additional comfort on uneven roads.

Lighting and visibility are ensured by the Trelock Bike-i VEO LS 232 front light and the AXA Juno Steady rear light. The pedals are KTM Line Onroad BF, which provide good grip and pedalling efficiency. The bottom bracket is a Shimano UN101-KB22B, which, together with the Shimano Tourney T501 crankset (48-38-28T), the Shimano HG200-8 cassette (12-32) and the Shimano HG40-8 drivetrain, offers a smooth and efficient riding experience.

The handlebars are a KTM Line Rizer20 with a width of 640 mm, fitted with KTM Comp Ergo Lock grips for added comfort. The stem is adjustable from 0–60°, allowing for individual customisation of the riding position. The headset is a Ritchey OE Zero Logic 1.1/8", which ensures precise steering.

The rims consist of KTM Line components with Shimano DH-C3000-3 and FH-TX500-8 hubs, combined with 28" Casual rims (622x19) and Richman 2.0 INOX spokes in silver. The tyres are Vittoria Randonneur 42-622 Reflex, fitted to both the front and rear, providing good traction and visibility.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Rio 12, fitted to a KTM Line seatpost (27.2 mm) with a KTM Line seatpost clamp (QR – 31.8 mm). The mudguards are RPZ 28" KTM46 spec in gloss black, which protect the bike from dirt and water. The chain guard is an SKS Chainblade 46/48T, which keeps the chain clean and protects the rider from dirt. An adjustable kickstand from KTM (28") ensures stability when parking the bike, and the luggage rack is a Racktime LIGHT KTM (Snapit 2.0), which offers practical transport options.
