KTM CITY FUN 28

The 2023 KTM CITY FUN 28 is a versatile and robust city bike designed for everyday use in urban environments. Priced at 799 EUR, it offers a wide range of features and components that ensure both comfort and safety. The frame is made from a lightweight 28" 6061 CITY FUN / C-7070 alloy, which reduces the bike’s total weight to just 14 kg, whilst the maximum rider weight is 116 kg.

The bike is fitted with Tektro CL330 / 855AL V-brakes, which provide reliable braking power. Gear changes are controlled via the Shimano Nexus 3S42E-3 Revoshifter with display, which allows for easy and precise gear selection. The CITY FUN 28’s rigid fork ensures direct and stable steering. For lighting, the bike is fitted with the Trelock Basic LS 102 LED front light and the Trelock Duo Flat LS 613 rear light, which ensure good visibility in traffic.

The pedals are KTM Line Onroad BF, whilst the bottom bracket is a Shimano UN101-KB22B model. The crankset consists of a Lasco RCF4138F17 with 38 teeth, and the sprocket is a Shimano Steps SM-GEAR with 19 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z1 chain. The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer with a 70 BS rise and a width of 600 mm, fitted with KTM Line Urban Gel grips for added comfort. The stem has a 35° angle, which contributes to an upright and comfortable riding position.

The front and rear rims are from KTM Line and Shimano, measuring 28" and featuring 36 spokes, which provide additional stability. Both tyres are Vittoria Randonneur 42-622 Reflex models, known for their durability and good grip. The saddle is a Selle Royal City model, mounted on a KTM Line seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is secured using a KTM Line clamp QR with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The bike is also fitted with RPZ 28" KTM46 spec black glossy mudguards, which protect against splash water, as well as a Herrmans Slyde 38T chain guard. An adjustable KTM centre stand for 24"–28" bikes ensures the bike stands securely, and the luggage rack is a universal KTM 28" model that offers additional storage space.
