KTM CHICAGO STREET 29

The "CHICAGO STREET 29" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its robust build and high performance. Priced at 899 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is constructed from a 29" 6061 alloy MTB STREET / M-2090 design, ensuring stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 16 kg.

The brakes utilise the Shimano EF505 2-piston system, which ensures reliable braking power and safety. The drivetrain is fitted with the Shimano Tourney RD-TX800 rear derailleur and the matching Shimano EF505-8 display shift levers, enabling precise gear changes. The front derailleur is a Shimano Altus M313, which also contributes to the high shifting performance. The fork is a Suntour NVX30 coil 29" with 100mm of travel, which ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain.

The rims consist of a combination of a KTM Line – Shimano DH-3D37 CL 32H 100 QR at the front and a KTM Line - Shimano FH-TX505-8 CL 32H 135 QR at the rear, both sized 622x20 and fitted with Pillar 2.0 INOX spokes in silver.

The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam K-Guard 54-622, fitted to both the front and rear, providing good grip and puncture protection. The saddle is a KTM Line Sport, mounted on a KTM Line seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is secured using a KTM Line clamp QR with a diameter of 31.8 mm. SKS Velo 65 Mountain 29" mudguards protect against dirt and water, whilst the adjustable KTM 28" kickstand ensures the bike stands securely.
