The 2022 KTM Chicago 291 offers a solid combination of performance and reliability at a price of 749 EUR. The bike’s frame is constructed from 29" 6061 alloy MTB tubing, which is renowned for its robustness and durability. The maximum load capacity is 134 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 15 kg.

For optimum braking performance, the Chicago 291 is fitted with Tektro HD-T275 brakes, complemented by Shimano RT10 CL brake discs measuring 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Altus M2000-SGS Shadow system, supported by Shimano Altus M2010 shift levers and a Shimano Altus M2000 front derailleur. The wheelset comprises KTM Line rims at the front and rear, combined with Shimano Tourney hubs (HB-TX505 CL 32H at the front and FH-TX505-8 CL 32H at the rear) and Pillar 2.0 INOX spokes in silver. The saddle is a KTM LINE SPORT model, fitted to a KTM LINE seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm.
