KTM CHESTER 8

The "CHESTER 8" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a versatile and robust bicycle, available at a price of 1149 EUR. The frame is made from 28" Alloy 6061 CHESTER / T-8640 and contributes to a total weight of 15 kg. The bicycle’s maximum load capacity is 134 kg.

The CHESTER 8 is fitted with high-quality brakes: the Shimano MT200 brakes and the Shimano RT10 CL 160 brake discs at the front and rear ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus-8, operated via the Shimano Nexus-8 C6000 gear lever and offering a total of 8 gears.

The bike’s fork is made of rigid aluminium (rigid alloy), which contributes to its stability and durability. Lighting is provided by the TRELOCK BIKE-i VEO LS233 front light and the TRELOCK DUO FLAT LS 613 rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic.

The bike is fitted with KTM LINE Onroad rubber BF pedals, which provide good grip and comfort. The SUNTOUR CW16-VX-S42 crankset with 42 teeth and the Shimano SM-GEAR19 sprocket with 19 teeth ensure efficient propulsion, supported by the KMC Z1 chain.

The handlebars are KTM Black LINE Riser 17, complemented by KTM LINE Urban Gel grips and a KTM LINE 7° stem. The headset is a RITCHEY Zero Logic PRESS FIT 1-1/8", which ensures precise steering. The tyres are SCHWALBE ROAD CRUISER K-Guard 42-622 in black, fitted to both the front and rear, fitted to KTM Line wheelsets with a Shimano DH-3D37 CL 36H hub at the front and a Shimano Nexus-8 SG-C6001-8 hub at the rear.

The saddle is a KTM HYBRID, fitted to a KTM LINE 27.2 seatpost. An adjustable KTM Centre stand for bikes from 24" to 28" ensures the bike stands securely. The RACKTIME LIGHT 21 luggage rack offers additional practical transport options.
