KOGA COLMARO EXTREME (Mod. KCEXTREME)

The 2021 KOGA COLMARO EXTREME (model KCEXTREME) is a high-performance bike, positioned in the upper mid-range with a price of 2499 EUR. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium, ensuring a good balance between stability and weight. The bike is fitted with the Shimano GRX - RX600 braking system, which features hydraulic disc brakes in a flat-mount design at both the front and rear. These brakes offer reliable and powerful deceleration under a wide range of conditions.

The COLMARO EXTREME’s derailleur is also from the Shimano GRX range – specifically the RD-RX400 model – which, in combination with the Shimano GRX ST-RX610 shift levers, provides 22 gears. This drivetrain enables precise and smooth gear changes, which is particularly advantageous on challenging rides. The rigid KOGA carbon fork, measuring 12x100mm, helps to reduce weight and ensures direct steering.

The KOGA Adventure Race handlebars, made from oversized aluminium with an ergonomic shape, offer comfort and control, whilst the KOGA Endurance Tape silicone grips provide additional grip and cushioning. The stem, also from KOGA, is made from lightweight aluminium and is called the Carnero Oversized. The integrated headset with industrial-grade ball bearings blends seamlessly into the frame design.

The tyres are WTB Byway in size 34-622, fitted to a DT Swiss G1800 Spline 25 wheelset. The front and rear DT Swiss 370 Road hubs ensure reliable and long-lasting performance. The bike is fitted with the KOGA Race saddle with CroMo rails, mounted on a D-shaped seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. Overall, the COLMARO EXTREME L offers a well-thought-out specification that is suitable for both ambitious cyclists and everyday use.
