KAYZA Spodic 4.7 Hardtail

The KAYZA Spodic 4.7 hardtail from 2024 offers solid equipment for mountain bike beginners and leisure riders. The frame is made of 6061 aluminium and measures 46 cm, which provides a stable yet lightweight base. The permissible total weight is 130 kg, while the bike itself weighs 15 kg.

Braking power is provided by TEKTRO "HD-M280" disc brakes, which are fitted with 180 mm TEKTRO "TR180-35" brake discs at both the front and rear. The drivetrain is a 24-speed SHIMANO "Cues", which is combined with SHIMANO "Cues SL-U4000" shifters and a SHIMANO "Cues FD-U4000" front derailleur. This configuration enables precise gear changes and flexible adaptation to different types of terrain.

The SUNTOUR "SF18-XCE28-DS-27.5" fork with a suspension travel of 100 mm offers comfort and control on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the CONTEC TRENTMANN "DLUX 30 N++" front light and the BÜCHEL "Z-Fire on" rear light, which ensure safety in poor lighting conditions. The pedals are from VP and come in a sleek black colour.

The bike is equipped with a SHIMANO "BB-UN 101" bottom bracket and a SHIMANO "FC-U4000" crankset with 40x26 teeth. The sprocket consists of a SHIMANO "HG-200-8" with a gradation of 42/34/26 teeth and a cassette of 12-32 teeth, which ensures a versatile gear ratio. The drive is provided by a SHIMANO "CN-LG-500" chain.

The handlebar is a CONTEC "Moab" with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 740 mm, complemented by CONTEC "MTB Straight long" grips for a secure hold. The stem is also from CONTEC, model "Forge", with a length of 70 mm. The bike has KAYZA hollow chamber "X17" rims and MAXXIS "Crossmark II" tyres in size 27.5x2.25, which provide good traction.

The hubs are from SHIMANO, model "DH-3D37B" at the front and "FH-TX505" at the rear, both with quick-releases and 32 holes. The saddle is the CROSS "Corex" model, mounted on a CONTEC "SP-619" seat post with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 400 mm.

The Spodic 4.7 is also equipped with SKS "Velo 65 Mountain" mudguards, which offer protection against dirt, as well as a URSUS "MOOI R90" kickstand, which ensures stability when parked. With a price of EUR 699, this model offers good value for money for anyone looking for a reliable mountain bike.
