KAYZA Spodic 12.7 Hardtai

The 2023 KAYZA Spodic 12.7 hardtail model offers a balanced combination of performance and reliability at a price of 1,499 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and provides a sturdy base with a size of 46 cm. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of riders.

Braking performance is provided by the TEKTRO “HD-M280” system, which is fitted with 180 mm brake discs at both the front and rear. The drivetrain is a 12-speed SRAM “GX-Eagle”, operated via the SRAM “SX EAGLE” trigger shifters, enabling precise gear changes. The ROCKSHOX/SRAM “Judys-TK-27-Q-100-DFB-FB-42Z-A3” fork, with 100 mm of travel, offers comfort and control on uneven terrain.

The bike is fitted with VPE “993” pedals and a SRAM “DUB BSA” bottom bracket. The crankset is a SRAM “EAGLE” with 32 teeth and a length of 175 mm, whilst the cassette is a SRAM “PG-1210” with a range of 11–50 teeth. The drivetrain is the SRAM “SX EAGLE 12S” system in brown.

The handlebars are CONTEC “Moab” with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 740 mm in black, complemented by CONTEC “MTB Straight Long” grips. The stem is also by CONTEC and measures 70 mm with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The semi-integrated headset by GW ensures smooth steering.

The KAYZA hollow-wall “X17” rims are designed for disc brakes and fitted with MAXXIS “Rekon” tyres in size 27.5x2.25, mounted on both the front and rear wheels. The spokes are made of black stainless steel. The front hub is a PROMAX “DB602EF-CL” with a quick-release mechanism and 32 holes; the rear hub is a SHIMANO “FH-M3050”, also with a quick-release mechanism and 32 holes.

The SELLE ROYAL “Vivo” saddle in black ensures comfort, whilst the CONTEC “SP-619” seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 400 mm, offers additional stability. Overall, the KAYZA Spodic 12.7 Hardtail is a robust mountain bike suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.
