KAYZA Hydric Dry 8.7 Hardtai

The "Hydric Dry 8.7 Hardtail" model from KAYZA, released in 2023, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its high-quality components and robust construction. The bike’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is designed as a hardtail with a semi-integrated Bosch system. With a frame height of 44 cm, it provides a stable base for a variety of riding conditions and is rated for a maximum rider weight of up to 130 kg.

The braking system comprises SRAM ‘DB8 DFBA 20P’ brakes with matching brake levers and 180 mm SRAM ‘DB Centerline’ brake discs at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain is a 12-speed SRAM “SX-Eagle”, operated via a Single Click Trigger, which enables precise gear changes. The SUNTOUR “SF19-XCR32-Boost-AIR-LOR-DS-15QLC32-110-27.5” fork, with 120 mm of travel, provides comfortable suspension and control on uneven terrain.

Lighting is provided by a CONTEC “DLUX 80 E+” front light and a CONTEC “CTL 335 E” rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The pedals are VP “VPE-506” models in black. The bike is fitted with a robust crankset from MIRANDA and features a SRAM “CR Eagle” chainring with 38 teeth, as well as a SRAM “PG-1210” cassette with a range of 11–50 teeth. The handlebars are CONTEC “Moab” with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a width of 740 mm, complemented by CONTEC “MTB Small Wing long” grips. The stem is also from CONTEC, the “Forge” model, with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 70 mm.

The rims are KAYZA hollow-section “X18” disc rims, fitted with CONTI “Contact Urban” tyres in size 60-584, mounted on both the front and rear wheels. The hubs are from FORMULA: the “DC-511” model at the front and the “EHL-148S” at the rear, both with 32 holes and finished in black. The saddle is an SR “Vivo Sport Ergo”, mounted on a CONTEC “Pillar” seatpost.

Additional features include SKS “A65 R” plastic mudguards, a transparent chain guard from BLASE, an URSUS “Mooi R90” kickstand, and a CONTEC “Powerlock” battery-powered lock.
