Kalkhoff IMAGE 7 EXCITE+ ABS

The “IMAGE 7 EXCITE+ ABS” model from Kalkhoff, launched in 2024, boasts a wide range of technical features that make it an attractive e-bike for discerning riders. The frame is made from Integrale 1.6 aluminium, which ensures high stability and a maximum permissible weight of up to 170 kg. The bike is fitted with a Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System motor, which delivers 250 W of power and 85 Nm of torque at 36 V. The battery has a capacity of 750 Wh and is charged using a Bosch 4A charger.

The braking system comprises Magura MTC ABS four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with ABS, which, in combination with the Magura MCT-ABS brake levers, ensure safe deceleration. Gear changes are controlled via the Enviolo Trekking System, which is also used for the gear lever. The SR Suntour Mobie34 fork, with 80 mm of travel and a 110x15 mm thru-axle, is also fitted with ABS, offering additional comfort and safety.

Optimal lighting is provided by the Supernova E3 Mini 2 front light and the Trelock COB Line LED rear light. The drivetrain consists of a Gates Carbondrive CDX system, which, together with the Gates Carbondrive sprocket, ensures quiet and low-maintenance power transmission. The Concept EX Ergo Riser handlebars, combined with the adjustable Concept EX stem (80 mm), ensure a comfortable riding position.

Other features include Rodi TRYP35 rims with double eyelets, Schwalbe Big Ben Plus tyres in size 55-584, and stainless steel spokes. The front hub is a Shimano Alivio MT400 with 15x100 mm and a quick-release mechanism, whilst the rear hub is part of the Enviolo Trekking System. The Selle Royal Lookin saddle, combined with the droppable and suspension-equipped seatpost, offers a high level of comfort.

The bike is also fitted with aluminium mudguards, a MIK HD luggage rack and comfortable pedals with anti-slip protection and reflectors. The Bosch Kiox 300 colour display with Walk Assist function rounds off the technical specifications. The price of the IMAGE 7 EXCITE+ ABS is 5999 EUR.
