Kalkhoff ENTICE 5 SEASON

The "ENTICE 5 SEASON" model from Kalkhoff, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium – specifically, the Integrale 0.6 CX – and provides a robust foundation for demanding rides. With a maximum load capacity of 150 kg, the bike is also suitable for heavier loads or luggage, making it ideal for touring or everyday use.

Braking performance is provided by the Tektro T280 hydraulic disc brakes with 2 pistons, which, in combination with the matching brake levers, ensure reliable and controlled braking. The drivetrain is fitted with Shimano Cues 9-speed technology, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The corresponding shift levers are also from the Shimano Cues range.

The SR Suntour XCM HLO fork, with 100 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures comfort on uneven terrain and can be locked out when required to enable more efficient riding on smooth surfaces. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans MR5 front light and the Herrmans H-Trace LED rear light, which together ensure good visibility and safety on the road.

The e-bike is equipped with the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System, which offers powerful assistance with an output of 250 W and a torque of 85 Nm. The 625 Wh battery ensures a long range, whilst the Bosch Purion 200 colour display clearly shows the rider all the important information. The battery is charged using a Bosch 2A charger.

Comfort is enhanced by the aluminium Comfort Riser handlebars and the adjustable 90 mm stem. The Selle Royal Vivo saddle and the aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm also contribute to a comfortable riding experience. The Rodi TRYP25 rims, combined with the CST Gripper tyres, ensure stability and grip on a variety of surfaces.

Additional features such as the MTB pedals with reflectors, the MIK luggage rack and the plastic mudguards with edge protection round off the overall package. The ENTICE 5 SEASON is therefore a well-designed and well-equipped e-bike, available at a price of 3799 EUR, which performs well in both urban and rural environments.
